I have never sped through a book so quickly — devouring every sentence in search of an answer to the age old question “what happens next?”. The book may be a relatively quick read, but that doesn’t lessen the impact. I’m wouldn’t label this novel horror, it is more along the lines of a brutal suspense novel.

A fun little novel! I was most interested in Josh and Luis as characters- their final scene was heartbreaking. I'll definitely be checking out this author's other works

A new form of the rabies virus is breaking out throughout Massachusetts & Natalie has to make to the hospital to deliver her baby.

Reading about a pandemic so soon after going through one is stressful, but of course horror is one way to help us deal with real life. Honestly I couldn’t love this book because I disliked both of the main characters and the choices that they made.
