I had so much fun reading this. It’s cute, funny, and totally bingeable. I legit laughed out loud a few times, and the main characters are super likeable. Riley and Nick have great chemistry, and the whole psychic murder mystery vibe totally worked for me.

Riley is divorced, living in a mansion filled with quirky elder people and is ignoring who she really is. Dreams plague her and visions haunt her. Someone gets shot. Riley starts to question herself and how her decisions are affecting everyone around her.
Here comes Nick the PI. Loves the life he lives. No commitments other than his PI business. Dreads the relationship life in any form. Then he meets Riley and everything changes. Thrust into a case that has a whole bunch of chaos coming from all different directions, he starts to view things from a different angle.
How can you not love this book? You have the amazing characters at the mansion, the Thorn family, a spite cow, a lion dog, Gabe and Jasmine.
Story is full of suspense, magic and intense humor. I was laughing hysterically throughout this entire book!

I enjoyed the Book and the combination of romance and murder mystery was interesting. I was quite invested in Riley and Nicks relationship. I think Nicks bad boy personality which the author was trying to portray wasn't great at times and he seemed to change up his personality a few times. I did find that because it was a mixture of 2 genres trying to fit it into one book sometimes got lost in terms of focusing more on their relationship rather than the plot of the murder. All of the characters you met were likeable while the characters you were meant to hate you did dislike.

This was a riot. Riley Thorne is a reluctant psychic who is down on her luck. Nick Santiago is a former cop and now P.I. who doesn't like following rules and doesn't do commitments. They are surrounded by a diverse, quirky, crazy set of friends and relatives. Working together to solve the murder of Riley's gross neighbor Dickie, sparks fly between the two, crazy friends get involved and much insanity happens. I loved it.
