I don't want to talk about this anymore because it gives me a headache, but I'll never understand why Rina included scenes of Eli's possessiveness/stalking/controlling in the previous books and ignored it all in this book to let us know that all that time of him limiting Ava's social interactions, didn't mean "anything" bc he wasn't celibate, nor was he "interested" in her. A man who is not celibate while stalking and controlling a girl? The nerve. You are not a real man. I mean, he could have fun at college but Ava couldn't... Gross!

I would report Rina for deceiving us so vilely in the previous books with the crumbs of EliAva and making us want the book based on something totally false.
All the projection based on what happened with the couple before? None of that is real.
You are not trustworthy, clown Rina.
But anyway, 2 stars in general for the content of the book (there was almost no romance).
5 stars for Evi's possessiveness.
1 star and a headache for all the true points about Eli's celibacy while Ava was in college ( https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/4889605188#comment_list )
Can you believe I was planning to read this in December "my favorite time of year" because there was no way this couple was going to ruin anything for me? I already cried from sadness.
by the way ari is so disgusting and Remi should die. Thank god they don't have a book

First of all- I am sad that this is the last book in their series. I really enjoyed getting to know these characters and am sad to be saying goodbye. I feel that the ending had more potential but that could be there for the potential to bring them back in another series? You never know with Rina Kent.

Okay now for this book:
I really enjoy a good arranged/forced marriage trope. I feel like this one was done so well as she was missing parts of her memory (and thus the reader). I was so intrigued by the humor that was brough out throughout the book and that respect between the two MCs even though it was abundantly clear they both they did not want to have any connection to the other but had to as they were married. The author so exceptionally talented as the dynamics not only between MC but also between the books never feel forced or cheesy. The world is so intricately woven that it seems improbable for it to flow so seamlessly, yet somehow, it does. Each character and story contributes to the whole, both individually and cohesively.

All in all 5 ⭐ 3.5

I was so pleasantly surprised by this book! I loved how different it was from the others in the series. Eli had me wondering what the hell was going on half the time. And to see that Ava was struggling so much in the past and no one knew was crazy to see. I loved the way they found their way back to each other. The only gripe I have about the book is that the ending was a little too happily ever after and didn’t really take into account the seriousness of Ava’s condition in regards to reintroducing her relationship to Eli and them having kids.
