ugh, no. I couldn't stand Ava and I truly had a hard time getting through this especially after how good God of Fury was. 

The saving grace to this was Eli and that his brooding and protectiveness did live up to the "dark" elements of the series. 

This one made me glad the series is over.

At first, I wasn’t into the story—Ava just wasn’t my favorite FMC, and I struggled to connect with her. But Rina Kent has this unmatched ability to pull you in emotionally when you least expect it. Before I knew it, I was feeling deeply for Ava, realizing she had it worse than many of the other characters in the series. While this wasn’t my favorite installment overall, I’m happy with how it ended and appreciate the way Kent gave Ava a sense of resolution.
