I was so excited for this book. I thought there would be more with Eli admitting he made a mistake and waiting Ava out but that all happened way later in the timeline than I thought.
Anyhow. Ava was a hot mess but I'm glad she finally pulled through and got her ridiculous happy ending.

Exploring in this book: Dating someone with serious mental health issues, maybe? No idea.
I feel like this whole book was just unnecessary. All the other stories were roughly in the same timeline with seeing the same scenes play out through different POVs. This one was 2 years later from all the others, and it barely had any of the previous characters, which just made it feel too separated. Also there's the fact that the romance in it just felt super bleak the whole time. And ofc it was obvious from the start that she'll magically get better in the end so they can be together.. Overall, not impressed, but also not super disappointed. 🤷♀️
