What. A. Finale.
God of War was the absolute perfect way to end the series—and I’m still swooning over the MMC and FMC. Their chemistry? Electric. Their connection? Soul-deep. This book gave me everything I wanted and more.
Rina Kent wrapped up this world with so much intensity, emotion, and passion. I fell hard for the characters—their strength, their vulnerability, the way they fought for each other. Every scene had me hooked, and let’s be real… I was kicking my feet more than once.
If you’re looking for a series ender that brings all the heat, heart, and closure your romance-loving soul craves—this is it.

Not sure how I feel about this. On one hand I did enjoy my time reading it but the plot felt so disjointed. We have had 5 books to build up this relationship and i feel like the amnesia trope was too heavily relied upon making us start all over without context. Maybe if we got a very clear picture/flashbacks of how Eli’s feelings developed for Ava before marriage, his declaration of love wouldn’t feel soo cheap the book didn’t live up to what was portrayed. The potential of everything we followed Ava as a background character fell flat. It felt like they spent more time apart than together. This would have been the perfect book to divide into 3 parts like scenes from childhood, university and then after. Really missed opportunity in my opinion.
The audiobook is definitely my favourite from the series. Without it, I doubt i would have enjoyed it quite as much.
That being said it is my second most liked book in the series behind Cecily and Jeremy’s book. It was the most different and felt like more effort was put into their connection.
