An enjoyable listen. Sometimes I had difficulty figuring out which character I was with and that would have been easier in a print book.

I really liked this one. I could not put it down. Liane Moriarty is a favored author of mine. Her characters are well developed and I find I relate to many of them. Alice and Libby were no exceptions. Like her other novels, she posits an exaggerated incident and encourages you to think about how you would be affected or what you would do. I am feeling rather nostalgic and introspective after this read. I feel like I might reach out to some of those friends from 10 years ago and check in on those strained ones now.
I love how this author unravels her characters for us. I love how she introduces topics with a bit of suspense.
Enjoyed this attempt to imagine what losing memory must feel like, although it did not check all the boxes I experienced with my mother, it is a good effort.
Sweet story, and a fun listen for a middle aged mom of 4.

I wrote this really amazing review, but it clearly didn’t post…. Let me see what I can remember
Such a fun read. Moriarty has an original, quirky, catty kind if writing style that I really enjoyed. I loved the book right up to the last chapter, at which point I was unsure if she would end the book the right way. I'm glad to report that she did, in fact, end it the right way. I nearly cried when Alice thinks, "...all the years of hurt and joy, bad times and good times, seemed to fuse into a feeling that she knew was so much stronger, more complex and real, than any of those first fledgling feelings..." Spot on, Liane. I have often thought the very same thing about my sweet husband and the relationship that we've shared for close to 20 years.
