I feel like there is more to the story! And there is a lot of emotions and some crying. But also a reasonably HEA and very enjoyable
better than the second one but kind of all over the place? too many threads flapping wildly in the wind and then getting wrapped up before I could fully find where they even came from
i can't believe I liked this book so much. what the fuck
I cannot rate a Simon Snow book lower than a 4. Honestly. I just missed the characters too much. But if I'm being critical, the start of this book felt slow, and I was kinda dreading to know how Rowell would draw out a simple storyline to almost 600 pages, and tbf, it didn't really pick up until over 300 pages in. Ultimately, was it a fun read? Absolutely, it was a great conclusion to the series and my heart hurts for it and hopes for more. But it also felt rushed in the end and even partially unresolved. But, cest la vie, we can't always get a perfectly good ending to a book with everything tied perfectly. Maybe it was left with more space for another book! Would love to hear and see more of Shep!
I loved this book! It was so good. Though it ended in a way that I think there is more to the story and I need another book.
I wish I could give this a 3.75 rating.
There’s a lot to love! Rowell is brilliant at bringing you into a moment and capturing your attention. These characters have meant the world to me since I read Fangirl almost a decade ago, and it’s emotional to see Simon and Baz’s story come to a close (which is why it took me so long to finally read it…)
The problem is it really DIDN’T come to a close. I feel that I’m left with more questions than ever. So much was left unexplained, and more than a few plot lines were underdeveloped.
However, it’s impossible not to love spending time in the world of the mages. Especially with Simon and Baz.
I’m just going to read Carry On again…

What a beautiful conclusion to this trilogy. I love everything Rowell writes, and she just crafts such tender, heartbreakingly accurate, beautiful exchanges between characters and internal character reflections. Love it.
i dont want to accept the fact that their story is over
I did enjoy book three. It was a very long but I liked how eventually all the story line plots formed together for the climax. I also am glad that Simon and Bas finally made up and are now in a "realistic" relationship.
This was great!9 I loved the story and everything else! Just wish we got more follow up.
