HOLLY HELL! That was oh so much better than the first one! And that cliffhanger wth!
I'm shocked and I can't stop reading this series.....
I've already started reading the third one now, cause I can't WAIT!!
This Series is getting better and better by each book. I loved the characters progress and so much more to say, I can't believe I hated Beckham first but now! Shit no words, that just blew my mind! And Reyna's progress from a fragile little baby doll to such a badass fighter definitely was the highlight of it.
The mysteries and all the secrets are unveiling so fast and I'm biting my nails (literally) to know what the hell just happened right now
Ahhh! Book three, you better have all my answers ready for me, cause I'm coming.

Okay, WOWZER!! I am feeling the heat now between Rayna and Beckham. I can't wait to get to the conclusion of this very different PNR.
This specific video review will be included in the July 2018 wrap-up.

Just **WOW**
Book one had a ton of potential. It lacked a little but kept my attention. SO GLAD IT DID. Book 2 was great. The end was mind blowing and totally unacceptable. Awaiting the conclusion....

thoroughly enjoyed Blood Match, the second book in the Blood Type trilogy. Like the previous book this too ended in a cliff-hanger, which had me quickly searching for the next book.
To recap, Reyna desperate to earn money went to work for Visage as a blood escort. She ended up becoming a permanent blood escort for the enigmatic Beckham Anderson. At the end of book one Reyna found herself in a precarious position. In Blood Match, which picked up where book one left off and we see Reyna being held captive by Beckham’s boss, Harrington, where she was being used solely for her blood because of her rare blood type. Her life with Harrington was literally that of a prison. She had no access to the outside world and she was constantly being poked by needles. Her sanity was hanging by a
thread, however her hope of a reunion with Beckham and her brothers helped to keep her sane.
The story started out slow and gradually picked up the pace leading up to a jaw dropping end. Interesting information came to light regarding Beckham and his role in the Elle the mysterious organization fighting against the vampire hierarchy. I learned so much more about him, which provided a better understanding of his character.
Reyna was no longer the naive person I met in book one. Her experience as a result of her being held captive by Harrington gave her a first-hand experience of harsher side of the vampire world. However, the things that remained the same were her impulsiveness, her ability to ask a million and one questions and her propensity for attracting trouble.
Her relationship with Beckham has blossomed. I love how protective Beckham was towards Reyna, but at the same time allowing her the freedom to be herself. I loved seeing them together.
This installment introduced new characters were brought into the mix and they helped to make things interesting. The story had its share of action and suspense. There were twists that I never saw coming, but the most brutal of all was the ending. It left me in a state of shock. Even as I am writing this review, I keep wondering if it was a plot to trick the enemy. It had to be, there could be no other logical explanation.
Conclusion/Recommendation
Overall, a solid story and one I would recommend to fans of paranormal romance.
Narration
Caitlin Elizabeth continues to narrate the series. She has improved since the first book I loved how she handled the voices for each character. Her voices were distinct and she brought life to the story.

This is a truly addictive series and boy does K.A. Linde know how to leave things that keep us coming back, nay, begging for more. Blood Match picks up right where Blood Type leaves off. Sufficed to say Reyna is not in a good place, emotionally or physically. her world not only turned up side down but essentially destroyed she does the only thing she can, fights back through her pride until that too is beaten back and leaves her distraught.
On that note I highly recommend going back and doing a re-read of Blood Type before starting in on Blood Match. I found that I had sadly forgotten some of the small details that were important to the story when I began. They ultimately came back as things fell into place but it made the beginning a little head scratching as I tried to remember. Which leads me to saying, this is not a book that can be read as a standalone. These books end on cliffhangers and tied tightly together with one another.
As you might expect considering what Reyna goes through in Blood Type and what she will go through in the beginning of Blood Match, Reyna is not the naive but proud girl that we first met. She is hardened by what she discovers and what she goes through. All the things I wish she had been in the first book when she would frustrate me she becomes in this book, though she keeps a good dose of that pride and willfulness but would we really want her any other way. She is a powerful and determined heroine who will enthrall you with her courage, perseverance, and loyalty. She will frustrate you just as much with her willful determination and her lack of concern for her own self, but those traits make her capable of becoming the one that is needed to change everything.
Beckham, what does one say about Beckham...well actually I can say a few things, ha. First off I have to say I spend 3/4ths of my time loving him and 1/4th of my time hating him and thinking he is the worst scoundrel of all. He's also just an amazing character all around. Flawed so badly and determined to make amends for his past while moving the future of his race and that of all humanity in a new direction, but what direction that is...well you have to read to find out.
This series is action packed and will keep you on your toes until K.A. Linde makes you tip right over crashing to the ground when you get to her ending for this book. If you thought the end of book one was a cliffhanger you haven't seen anything yet. Be prepared to want to scream and toss your book (don't do it..you've been warned so you can breathe deep and set your e-reader/book gently aside then throw a pillow) and beg for more. This book will leave you scrambling and saying WHAT THE F, but it will be so worth it!
~ HAPPY READING (laughs maniacally) ~

I can't even with this book! Linde has done it again and although this is a PA book, it still has all the angst in which she writes her other books. And i love it!!
After reading Blood Type I was so anxious to read the next book to see what would happen in the worlf of Reyna and Beckham. And I was not disappointed. While the first book established our characters and the world around them, we really get to dive into the story in Blood Match, as well as get to know some new characters that play an important part in their world.
I don't want to do a spoiler review but I will say that there are some amazing scenes that I read over and over again. And once again Linde has left us all on the edge of our seat.
If you don't finish this book and yell, scream or throw your kindle/book, then you have no heart!!! This book had my heart racing in so many places from anticipation and I am sitting on pins and needles waiting for the final installment. In all honesty I'm hoping that it doesn't end with book 3. I want to read more and more of these characters!!

Took a star off because death cliff hangers are my pet peeve.
Let's start with the fact, which is, "I FUCKING HATE HARRINGTON" he is a pure bastard.
I cany even breath with the weight that was dropped on me in the end of this book.
This is not even a cliffhanger, it's like I was dropped from the top of the Visage building.
Anyways as you probably know from reading book one, Reyna was kidnapped by Harrington but she was saved and is now living at the Elle headquarters. Elle is a rebel group who stands against everything Visage is.
Anyways things get hotter, steamer and dirtier between reyna and Becks and now Everett is back.
It is a fucking disaster and....
Becks fucking di....
Just read it
