Fool's Gold by Juliet Blackwell is a short read that won't take you very long to get through it.

Will Oscar be careful of what he wishes for?

Poor Lily can never catch a break from what Oscar is capable of doing without supervision. I don't want to reveal too much about this cute short mystery, but it's just so adorable. Oscar and Lily's relationship as a witch and familiar shine through along with Oscar's penchant for unknowingly causing mischief in Lily's life. I was laughing at some things in the story.

I am giving five stars to Fool's Gold by Juliet Blackwell and recommending it to anyone that needs a good laugh or to read right after finishing the fifth book. Ms. Blackwell is a great author, and I love her Witchcraft Mystery series.

Thank you for dropping by! I hope you enjoyed this review of Fool’s Gold by Juliet Blackwell.

Until the next time,

Lily wakes up to a satyr on her couch that oscar brought home. she leaves oscar alone to deal with returning the satyr and when she returns, she ends up having to help oscar remove the reward he asked for that turns out to be a curse instead.

I think this is the shortest short I have ever read and while it is a cute idea, it is so very very rushed. Like, there is barely a plot at all (7 pages, what do you expect, really?). It was a cute little titbit, but with just a couple more pages it could have been vastly improved.

A cute but VERY short story. I mean, Lily could have needed to look for a way to save her familiar for a little longer than two lines (yes, you read that right, lines not pages).
Still, it was charming and Oscar-centric, I cannot rate it less than 4 stars.
