I found myself relating to Jenson on just about every level when it comes to being a single mom and not wanting help because it makes you feel like you’re failing. I adored both her and Tuck. This is my favorite CC book so far!

4/5 stars.

This book had SO MUCH potential. It just didn't have the correct execution. I'm not going to say poor execution because that's not true, it just went in a different direction than I expected. I loved Jensen so much; she was a little too relatable at times (little-miss can't ask for help when she needs it). And I love that she was a BADASS single mom who didn't take anyone's shit, even Tuck's.

I am just so over the "I'm not good enough for her" BULLSHIT. Like it's cute at first, but when it leads to the third-act break-up... I'M DONE. I also thought the ending of the book was a little rushed, and there was too much going on.

This was my favorite of the series! I loved Jensen and Tuck, I wish they were book 2 instead of 3. So so good.

I'm starting to get into more books that have some suspense in small towns. This one fits the bill because it was sweet, has suspense, big family with lots of supporting characters. I will say I did enjoy the first half more than the second half, but still an overall enjoyable read. So third book in the series is with Jensen (single mom) and Tuck, who is the sister and best-friend of the hero from book 1.
Catherines cover's really are beautiful and am planning on reading more.

Narrators Aaron Shedlock and Maxine Mitchell did a great job.
