Junji Ito has done it again, with this collection of short stories I loved it! I was so into it, I finished all of them in 2 days —but I’m looking forward to rereading it in the future. Like I’ve said before about his other works, they’re the perfect balance of dark/twisted and funny/interesting. I also have the manga version of No Longer Human and I’m really looking forward to reading it sometime in the future.

As an avid horror movie fan, I've always wanted to explore horror books and I'm so glad I started here! This collection of short stories was absolutely excellent, and I know I'm going to buy more of Ito's works in the future.

The tales were wonderfully horrific without making me feel sick, and the images were perfection. There was not a line out of place, and some of them will haunt my nightmares (high praise!).

I think my favorites out of this collection were "Roar", "In Mirror Valley", "I Don't Want to Be a Ghost", and "Library Vision", but both the haunted house stories had the most unsettling images.

An absolute must-read for anyone who likes horror and graphic novels!

This was my first Junji Ito read, though i’ve been wanting to read his works for years now. I’m so glad I was finally able to pick this collection of short stories up. I was able to enjoy the great work of Junji ito and get a glimpse into the macabre mind of Ito. Some of these stories weren’t particularly scary but others left me shocked and kind of sad. I was glad to finally see Soichi which is a character I’ve heard a lot about. I enjoyed this collection a good bit and I loved how varied it was. The artwork was breathtakingly good and I took my time to admire each page. Glad to finally have read this.
