This was cute book. It was a good read/listen. The characters were good, I liked some of the new characters but I missed a lot of the side characters from the previous book. The plot was fun and predictable. The writing style was decent. I can see why this book is a classic.

Slower than the first part. At some points, the characters are shown to be dumber than they should be at that point. Some of the character development from the last book have been carried over (notably, Edward's) which is a delight, but some characters have regressed to being how they were at the start of the first book until the point where it is plot appropriate for them to act mature.

The ending was highly anti-climactic, and the whole book felt like an old person complaining about the 'modern fads'. Some points made in the book are justified, but most of it is reminiscent of 'development sucks so lets go back to ways that are hundreds of years old'.

Overall, a good but slow read.

like this one more than the first book and no it was not just because of Caspian, but he was one of the main reason. I forgot how much I disliked Susan, sheesh and how much I love Peter and Lucy, Edmund is okay (he's getting better) but I most definitely cried when they said that Peter and Lucy will not be going back, damn. But also cannot wait to read the next book and omg this is like my 5th book of the month, I am on a roll.

I was listening to Castle by Halsey while writing this minuscule review
