Another great and solid volume in the The Sandman collection!
Brief Lives is a tale of Dream and Delirium setting out to find their brother, Destruction.
The Endless, which consist of Destiny, Dream, Delirium, Desire, Death, Destruction and Despair are more powerful then Gods. They still have family issues, misunderstandings and seem to get into each others way.
Destruction has been gone for many years now and Delirium wants to find him. Talk him into coming back to the family and finds a way to talk Dream into going on the mission with her.
Her conversations and interactions are so strange and confusing, but this makes sense because she's Delirium.
This volume shows how Morpheus is changing in subtle ways. He's regarding and changing decisions that he has made in the past. He's also interacting differently with his dysfunctional family, The Endless.
Looking forward to continuing this series!

Hasta ahora el más emotivo de los volúmenes de The Sandman. La conexión que Morpheus tiene con su familia es escasa, pero acá podemos ver algunos momentos que son sencillamente brillantes.
This book could also be called Del and Dream's Excellent (and sometimes Sad) Adventure. The entire arch is a Delight. I especially loved getting to know Destruction. Much like how Death is not what you expect, Destruction is kind and gregarious and loves his dog. He understands his purpose, but he doesn't want to be responsible for it anymore -- and who can blame him? Probably one of my favorites so far of the series.
Deep and fascinating. No wonder Neil Gaiman has such a strong following. I really love this series and I see myself finishing all 11 volumes very soon.

This one has been one of my favourites so far. I love how a lot of older stories have come together in this one! So exited to see how the last few volumes conclude.
After having his heart broken, Delirium convinces Dream to help her search for their long lost brother, Destruction. Dream ends up having to ask Orpheus for help, in return, Dream will have to kill him. They find Destruction, have a nice family chat, and he leaves the planet. Dream kills his son and returns from his adventures a little changed.
Sendmen 7: Kratki životi je sedmi tom iz serijala o Sendmenu i jedan od meni boljih tomova. Ovo je jedan od onih tematskih tomova gde pratimo jednu priču u više poglavlja. I ova priča mi se veoma dopala.
Za razliku od prethodna dva broja u kojima sam više uživao vizuelno od same priče, ovde su mi se oba veoma dopala i mogao bih ponovo da ga čitam u neko skorije vreme sa velikim uživanjem. Grafika je sjajna, fantastična. Boje su živopisne i prelepe. Kvalitet izrade ovih brojeva je više nego sjajan, tako da sve pohvale i za Čarobnu knjigu, još jednom.
Nije lako izgubiti voljenog, pa ni člana porodice. Ali kada on ode od vas, nekima će veoma nedostajati i želeće da ga nađu. Sumanutosti veoma nedostaje Sila i ona je rešena da ga pronađe. I ceo ovaj tom je zapravo o tome – potraga za Silom. Kroz nju ćemo ponovo sresti Smrt i Sudbinu, ali i Strast i Sumornost, nešto malo više ovaj put.
Svi ti susreti i ljudi su mi više nego zanimljivi. Sama Sumanutost mi je bila i draga i pogubljena, veoma je sumanuta. San ima svoje viđenje sveta i povremeno mi nije jasan, ali ta njegova čudnovatost mi se dopada i privlači me. To njegovo menjanje oblika mi je odlično i dopada mi se kako se Gejman igra sa snovima i tom dimenzijom stvarnosti. Evidentno je da je veoma dobro razradio čitav taj svet. Više nisam siguran šta je sve moguće, a šta nemoguće, šta je san, a šta java, ali uživam. A to je i poenta, zar ne?
