l really loved this volume. The overall journey and continual world building and overall bittersweet tone made for a thoughtful reading experience. Looking forward to reading the last few volumes.

Protect Delirium at all costs!!!
Yet again another beautifully written story and the art work is of course is phenomenal. Each of the characters so well fleshed out and I love the messages behind the complicated emotions of family relationship dynamics and sense of duty!!
The plot is really well paced with focus on each of the characters. Gaiman is great at getting you attached to characters that only appear for a few seconds. I can’t wait to see where this is going to go!
This is probably my favourite out of the series so far!!

Fantastic reflections on life, death and what it means to give room to change.
Sandman #7 focuses on Delirium and her brother Dream going on a road trip together. Delirium wants to find their brother Destruction, Dream just wants a break from his normal routines. Following their sibling relationship is fascinating, especially as Gaiman does make it wonderfully complex.
The comic is in turns hilarious and very dark. I loved the circular pattern of the story - the end neatly mirroring the beginning, loved how the tale of Orpheus was taken up again, loved how the topics of change and choice were interwoven again and again.
The artwork is captivating, e.g. the way Delirium is painted, her looks frequently changing to match her erratic mood swings.
So far, this is my favourite Sandman comic. Am looking forward to the next within the series.

In this one, Dream and Delirium (previously Delight before she went crazy) try to find their brother Destruction. They make for a hilarious team, him with his emotionless deadpan and her with her neurotic frenetic antics. The Dream-Orpheus scenes are also very touching.
Frankly, I'm shocked to come back to this and still find it invigorating.
