Delirium is distraught over the loss of the last brother who has been gone for some time.. She goes to speak to the other siblings about it bc she wants to find him. She talks Dream into helping her. He believes it will be straightforward and "nothing can go wrong". They have tumultuous adventures and eventually find him. I adored the bit about the dog and Del. The story was only redeeming in that fact. I'm glad I did not buy them before reading. I shall carry on. No great quotes.

A great Sandman story arc that gives us real character development for Morpheus and satisfyingly resolves some long-running plot threads. The book revolves around Dream and Delirium’s search for their prodigal brother, which leads them around the world and across the paths of some interesting personalities. Jill Thompson and Vince Locke bring some neat new art style to scenes of magic and madness, while preserving the overall conventions of the series.

A middle-ranking volume in the series. Well-crafted, but not as inventive as some of the prior entries. I enjoyed the development of the story arc, and Delirium is a fun and interesting character.

Absolutely fantastic storytelling by Neil Gaiman once again, and probably one of my favorite installments so far.
I love the interactions Delirium has with her family, and how Morpheus character progresses.
There's not a whole lot to say otherwise since I'm a fan of this series, and if you haven't read it you should.

...in which Dream and Delirium seek their long lost brother, and find him (and his talking dog). All of the Endless appear in this volume, as do a few very, very, very old people. Clever as always, with a dash of madness.
