Overall the books was good, great smut and character premise. With this book I was missing a lot of the connection and relationship between the main characters and those around them. There wasn't a lot of everyday activity depictions. Every scene felt action based and thrill seeking. Where there could have been a connecting moment for Jules to get closer to Titan or his brothers it was smut. And with Daddy relationships there is a lot more communication and boundaries set between the couple that we didn't see. It was an okay beginning but could have been amazing with a little more dialog and communication between this security team.
Jules back story needed more to connect us with it. And her lawyer was only mentioned in passing. With these surface level interactions I didn't really connect to her grief or have a relationship with her lawyer of 10 years.

Am I crazy? I felt like this was too much sex and not enough plot. I didn't need the I love yous lol. I did like the plot tho. It was hot and entertaining but ridged dicks/tails that enter and fill your holes from a gargoyle seem painful. Still think Troy Duran has such a sexy ass voice. I wish I heard more of him.
I'm looking forward to the next book! I like the overall plot and characters. The fmc seems shallow at times, but it's really a coping mechanism. HEA

as a certified monster fucker this book did not keep my attention at all, the plot was boring and the smut was forgettable, couldn't force myself to finish it
Very interesting story about some magic key thing they have to steal back. I really did enjoy this read. It wasn’t all sex or all plot but it really flowed nicely. Hoping Rook and Eden story gets told in the second book but this was great. Minor cliffhanger in the way they some big things have yet to be resolved but it’s an ongoing conflict I am sure for the next book. All in all pretty good.
