I was really excited for this and the spice is literally incredible. Like mind-blowing. It saved the book for me because the plot and the character weren’t very compelling for me. I was honestly more invested in Eden and Rook.

ARC Review

This was my first ARC and I loved it. I don’t read a lot of monster romance, but this book made me want to read more.

Titan is tough on the outside but a marshmallow on the inside. I melted at some of the things he said and did. I loved that Julianna handles stuff on her own, but slowly over the course of the book allows others to help her. I definitely recommend this book to everyone that loves monster romance and others to show them how amazing this book is. Thank you Jillian for my first ARC

I FEEL SO BAD NOT FINISHING THIS BOOK BECAUSE I WAS SO EXCITED!!!

But anyways, I wanted to love this book, I truly did. I did like aspects of it, Jules and her profession not shed in a negative light, for one. I just personally never felt the intensity between Titan and Jules. The chemistry wasn't there, I wasn't dying for them to rip each others' clothes off, nothing, nada. I also felt nothing reading their s*x scenes!!! HOW COULD I NOTT!!!?? Everything felt "meh" to me, especially the romance and that was the main reason I picked this up.

I will say, the mythology surrounding these gargoyles was darn interesting, their origins, their purpose, but for it to be a romance book and for me to not care about the romance, is a problem. I might try this author's other works once they're released because I did enjoy aspects of this story. And maybe another set of characters will have the chemistry unlike this couple.

"You need a Daddy, Juliana. Just for tonight, let me be that for you."
4.5 Stars

Oh, did someone mention gargoyles AND daddy dom in the same book? I ran with teh quickness to download this, I can't even lie. Titan can be my daddy anyyyy time he wants. Every highlight from this story is *chefs kiss*, and I added the only somewhat PG ones I could find for this review.

I actually enjoyed the plot, which was a pleasant surprise. I would've loved this book even if it was 100% spice, so I'll take the win.

Also, this perfectly sets up the future books without ending on any sort of cliffhanger. Looks like they'll be interconnected stand-alones.
