Plot of this one was great and I was really into it but what really got me to rate this 5 stars was honestly the Will/Sara relationship finally picking up. That ending scene was amazing.
Also I really like Will's relationship with Amanda tbh. I'd like to believe that everything that Evelyn said was 100% true.

YES!!! *with a fist pump* So much was revealed in this book. It answered a lot of my questions and brought up some others. This has become one of my favorite series. Now on to the next book.

FINALLY OMG! I just love this series. I think the Grant County series is a bit better as it has more gory stories...and you just can't beat Sara and Jeffrey. But this series with Will is wonderful. I literally devour these books and can't seem to get enough of her writing. This one is especially intriguing because it involve's Will's partner, Faith, and her mom, Evelyn. Faith had her baby in the last book, so I was really curious to see how that would impact her life and her job.
Slaughter does a fantastic job of making sure the reader feels various emotions and remains on my list as one of the top mystery/suspense authors.

Another great book in the Will Trent series, who knew I’d be on my FOURTH thriller in a row? I couldn’t stay out of this one, though I prefer #3 the most so far
