I don’t think I’ve hated a character as much as I hated Angie in this book. The full body rage was alarming.

Het is weer een spannende pageturner, zoals je van Slaughter gewend bent. Het verhaal zit goed in elkaar en heeft een verrassend einde. 'Gevallen' is het tot nu toe laatste boek van Slaughter. De personages zijn wederom dezelfde als de vorige boeken. Het is niet noodzakelijk om de gehele serie ook gelezen te hebben. Dit boek is weer een boek wat los gelezen kan worden. Het is natuurlijk wel leuker om alle boeken in de goede volgorde te lezen.

When I give a rating to a book, it’s about how I feel about the book itself and not a criticism of the author. With this in mind, I could only give this a low rating. I found that it plunged in at the beginning in a chaotic and muddled way.
I had to re-read a few pages so that I could understand the scene.
As it progressed, it didn’t grip me at all and I felt reluctant each time I picked it up to read.
The characters were likeable enough though.
