I am 52% into this book and JUST now realized, it is book#5 in a series. HOW did I miss this. I was about to pause on reading it bc there are SOOOOO many characters to keep up with. So much talk about gangs, their members/leaders, corrupt officers, inmates family members. Good grief. I couldn't remember who is who so I came to Goodreads, typed in the book title so I could add it to my lists. THAT is how I learned I am behind and ahead all at the same time. SooOOOOooo, back to book 1, I go.
