I picked up this book mainly because of the tv series, Will Trent, and turns out its #5 in a series. I'm going to go back now and start with the first book.

This series is just so consistently good. I loved that this gave us more background on Amanda and built on some of the backstory for Will’s original investigation of Faith’s mom. The series just does such a good job of building onto the previous stories with each addition. The characters and their relationships are so complex and the plots easily pull you in and keep you engaged. The ending for this one specifically I had no idea where it was going until Faith started unraveling everything in the final confrontation. Just overall a great series, and I’m looking forward to the next one!

A definite page-turner. I think this is one of the best in the series so far. I enjoyed the story but also love getting to know the characters better and seeing their relationships evolve over time. Highly recommend!
