I loved this book. I couldn’t put it down, I read it all in one night! Mysterious characters, parallel plots, and a nice bow at the end. Truly can’t ask for anything more in a thriller!

Everything got more interesting at the last 150 pages or so, but it took me a while to get into this one. I gobbled up its predecessor “The Family Upstairs”! It was nice correlating the two but this one fell just a bit flat for me. I’m not upset I read it, I’d probably just not re-read.

I loved this sequel to the first book! I do like how the chapters were broken up to hear the viewpoint from different characters. The book was easy to read and hard to put down. I liked all the unexpected turns the book had. Sometimes I did get lost on which character the chapter was focused on, but it was usually made clear after the first few paragraphs. Overall, a great book!
