DID NOT FINISH

definitely not my type of the book. nope.

Interesting and gripping, but admittedly I picked up this book because of title... and well It was rather misleading. The playlist seems to have zero importance to the story. It's just there... I wanted to know more about why Hayden killed himself and how...
None the less, I enjoyed this book. It's a delicate topic and I believe Michelle pulled it off, even if the book is a bit sketchy.
3.5 stars

Super easy to read and the story line kept me interested.

The author aimed for a great twist at the end but if you really look deep into it, you'll probably have the answers in the middle part of the book. It might confuse you towards the end but you'll finally realized you got your conclusions right. As for the playlist, i was expecting a great explanation to every song, maybe a hidden code. You'll just eventually realize that the whole novel was like listening to the playlist, the song titles as chapters are hints that the more you read, the more you'll understand and i guess that's that.

it lacks depth and the transition of the novel was from an interesting prologue to a predictable ending.

Not what I thought the book would be about...**spoiler** --suicide but the aftermath of those who are around said person before the act. Kind of strange they didnt go further into the playlist --overall a good read though

it frustrates me that there is no rewind button and you can't go back to fix things, it didn't make me cry but I definitely did enjoy it and I am glad I read it. got me out my reading slump !

3.5 stars. I love the messages that intended for people who lost their loved one because of suicide. This book is more to show how Sam grieving. As a debut novel, it was okay.

Tbh I kinda expect more? I expect Sam will discover each secret behind his best friend’s death, but nope. lowkey disappointed because i was expecting that. The songs are good too, it has a great idea and title, it just isn’t escalated that well.

Just another teenage drama

I water !y time reading this, I didn't grow as a person nor have fun reading this. Can be entertaining but not for me.
