Sem ser fácil imaginar um mundo quase completamente despovoado onde a civilização, como a conhecemos, deixou de existir, este visto dá uma boa imagem de como poderão ser as coisas durante e após um "quase" apocalipse. A ler.

The world building was fantastic. The plot was very lackluster. The themes of interconnectedness and holding on to one's humanity are fantastic, but the storytelling left a lot to be desired.

This was great! I loved the interconnected stories that were weaved throughout this book. In a world that takes place after an apocalyptic event, I fell in love with these characters and the lives they led. Wonderfully written!

I suppose this isn’t saying much at my pace, but this was the best book I’ve read in a long time.

I'm pretty sure I just picked this book up because of the Star Trek reference, but it kept my attention to the end.

Unlike most post-apocalyptic books that are incredibly violent and take the opportunity to scare you witless, this one takes a new slant--bad weird people are out there, but there's mostly just isolation. I would read this one again in a few years.

This story was beautifully written. I liked the jumps in both time and character-focus throughout the book. The pacing felt natural during these shifts.

For dealing with rather dark themes, the overall feel of the book was very hopeful. It felt like a ode to the small wonders all around us and the power of the connections that we make with the people around us.
