This book was interesting, but I would not in good conscience recommend it to anyone. It is really, violently, hauntingly graphic. Incredibly triggering - and I don’t consider media to be something very triggering usually. At the end of the book, there was a prequel which I liked MUCH better. The actual book itself was well written, but again, so graphic that I don’t think anyone should read it. Sorry Karin

Dark, gritty and addictive.
A great thriller is always such a fun read and although this didn't quite live up to my expectations it was still such an amazing read. I just loved that it was so different to the other thrillers that I had read and what a rollercoaster it was from the start.

A solid read. It gripped me and kept my attention, but the last 25% felt a bit gratuitous and mustache-twirling. Some genuine emotional moments. Just a bit too over the top near the end.
