This book started out great, I was intrigued...then it devolved into gratuitous torture porn with some plot twists that were so massively signposted, I'm not sure the label mystery is deserved.

Interspersed we're some truly heartwrenching journal entries written by the missing girls father.

It was the first book I have read by this author, and honestly, it's probably the last.
