I was captivated by all these stories in this book. The way of life in China I found the most interesting. There were also similarities to the experiences the daughters had with their Chinese born mothers. The ending was absolutely beautiful and brought the story together perfectly in the end.

Since reading this book, I've always meant to read something else by Amy Tan, but never have. The Joy Luck Club is a fantastic book; it's well- and interestingly-written, and I like that all of the main characters get their chance to narrate.
