This is the 2nd "time travel" YA I've read this year, an Amazon First Reads pick, and I mostly adored it. (Check out Throwback by Maurene Goo) The book had the feels of Never Have I Ever meets 13 Going on 30. Charlotte's friend group was reminiscent of the hit Netflix series, and the whole enemies to (kissing) couple was enjoyable to read. J.T. Renner may have been Charlotte's nemesis in her mind, but based on misunderstanding and hormones. I can recall how important things feel at that age. If someone showed me what 30 looked like to my 17 year old self, what would I think?
Charlotte, being a little immature and wishy washy at times was a little frustrating to me. She made snap judgments and took herself a little too seriously. But as a good friend and dealing with her parents' divorce and her father being somewhat absent from her life, she made her a more fully developed character. J.T. also had his reasons for seemingly careless. I enjoyed the "journey" to 2037, although it made me do some uncomfortable math about how old I'll be.

This was such a good read. I loved almost all of it. I do feel like there wasn't enough time in the future, and when they returned to their current timeline, you didn't know if it was real or not. I don't like the uncertainty.
There were so many cute moments and misunderstandings that I was constantly feeling this way or that. I did love the ending, I just wish I had gotten more clarity. Why can't there be more books like this? I love multiverse or time travel romances.
I want to rate this higher because there were more likes than dislikes, but it's not quite enough to round up five stars. So 4

The fun, easy read I was looking for. There were a handful of spots where the juvenile nature of teenagers had me rolling my eyes, but overall I enjoyed it very much.
….eh. This book was an easy read, definitely something I would have loved in middle school. But I also didn’t “love” high school in the way Charlotte is obsessed with it. This book was definitely more of a YA and reminded me so much of the TV show Never Have I Ever. Brook, we’re gonna get teased for hyping this one up. The book’s marketing team really got me good, and I work in marketing.
Ok I loved this. The writing was SO GOOD, anything that gets me laughing on page two is a winner. Definite Never Have I Ever crossover with 13 (but make it 17) Going on Thirty vibes, and I was here

I expected this book to be cheesy, (and it was, a little, but in a good way.) I did not expect it to pull me in and keep me up all night reading it. This is the kind of book where you root harder and harder for the main characters as the book progresses and by the end, you clutch it to your chest in sappy happy glee. I LOVED IT. It went straight to my favorites list and I can’t wait to read it again.
After how much I struggled with this in the beginning, I was not expecting to enjoy this as much as I did! So cute
