Such a sweet story
Needed a break from my usual psychological thrillers, and I saw this had good reviews so decided to give it a chance. Super cute romance story perfect for young adults and adults.

I wish Charlotte got past her “I hate Renner” mindset a little earlier, it bothered me how much that consumed her.
I also wish there was an epilogue where it jumps ahead 15 years again and they acknowledge being back at 30 years old. I would have enjoyed having some of the gaps filled in.

Loved this book so much!
I wish we got more Renner and Char!
I’m a very nostalgic gal when it comes to high school (class of ‘09!) so naturally this book felt like a warm hug. So many parts in the book made me realize how life is made of choices. Char finally chose to live in the moment and stop planning so much. It’s such a good read for anyone in high school honestly. This would be a great Senior English class read to get Seniors to reflect on their 4 years and really live in the moment of being a teenager.
Beautifully written. Wholesome. Adult Renner is swoon worthy. (That speech at the party at Ollie’s house… do I cry now or later?!)
High school carries so many impactful moments that many carry with them into adulthood depending on if it was a negative or positive experience. This book depicts teen angst and the complexities of high school relationships.
