Possibly one of the longest 250 page books that I have ever read. I know it was satire but the dialog just seemed to go on forever. It became a bit more focused at the end as K left his apartment and met new people.

Tough but interesting reading. The final chapters of the book are worth the suffering.

ciężko sie czytało bo na samym poczatku zaspojlerowałam sobie zakończenie :(((

This is a reread for me, and I decided to concentrate on books I haven’t read before. I’ll undoubtedly read it again later.

It feels like the law is a closed door and we are all waiting in front of that door and the day of judgment never comes. Law and justice is a great illusion that gives hope to the hopeless and takes away that same hope from the hopeful.
And sometimes it feels like no one wins.
