Problemi koje je ova knjiga istaknula, moralna diskusija knjige, koncept knjige, sve ovo je puno interesantnije nego sama radnja u knjizi.

Ipak, razgovor slikara sa Josefom je nevjerojatna scena - sigurno najbolja u cijeloj knjizi. Isto tako na početku kada su nepoznate komšije pratili Josefa od prozora do prozora u zgradi naspram, i kada su dvoje činovnika uspjeli izvesti Josefa a onda se počeli gušit od čistog zraka: divno uznemirujuće.

Not really sure what its all about but I only realised about three quarters of the way through thats the whole point. I think its a metaphor for religion or marriage or something. Incredibly mundane surrealism is quite an accomplishment.
