This book was… disturbing, creepy and weird but I still found myself wanting to finish it and it was well written.
Definitely not for the faint of heart (or anyone under 18) but I do recommend it if you want a short creepy sci-fi about men, fungus and a very different world

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the story. It's definitely interesting and even though I guessed a lot of the turn of events I was glad that Aliya went the way she did. Nate was a hard character for me to like but the things I don't like about him are all the qualities that make sense, I just wasn't a fan. He was too naive and delusional for my taste but I digress. Interesting read.
