I really wanted this to be a 5 star book! This was my most anticipated read of the series but Claire & Gibsie deserved better!! Knowing this book isn’t a duology also breaks my heart. The book felt rushed especially after reading the first 4 books that go so in depth with character development.

I almost did give this book 5 starts after reading the letter that Caoimhe left for Gibsie. It honestly broke my heart and I was sobbing for this boy. I hadn’t had a book hit me like that in a while.

The ending felt so rushed and like a setup for the next book (Lizzie & Hugh) :(
