The story I was waiting for… Gibsie and his Claire-Bear! This story actually broke my heart as it just highlighted how much people can put a mask on and we sometimes have absolutely no idea what someone has gone through. Gibsie continues to be hilarious but this book shows his vulnerable side and tackles some really difficult topics! Claire is the sunshine Gibsie needs and is absolutely the friend you would want in your corner. I continue to love Johnny, Shannon, Joey and Aoife and their contribution to this story. Having Gibsie and Claire’s POV throughout adds to the story and Walsh continues to write in such a way, you are instantly drawn into the story and feel every emotion. As always, please check the trigger warnings before reading! Now for Releasing 10!!

I can tell this is the first trad book in the series ironically they took everything good about it and made it bad. I like that it was quick and dialogue heavy. The author could explain a lot through it. I just wish she could edit (remove scenes) this however was dry and boring.

Holy shit do not read this book in public unless u want to publicly and audibly cry. Gibsie went through so much internal stress and change and I cannot believe how brave he was after losing his dad and sister AND the whole fuck ass hoe mark situations yet he still managed to live his life even with all of those things working against him
