Disappointing!
I haven't read Bella's other (and more popular/successful book) "How to Kill Your Family" and thought I'd start here...
I felt the book was a little underwhelming given what I was expecting.
A relatively simple story of a death in the family wrapped up in a murder case; and the ensuing family fued over their money and estate.
The characters weren't likeable (but that was the idea) and the story did feel a little laboured. I did enjoy the addition of The Sleuth and felt that more could have been done with her character.
A decent read. I will be visiting Bella's other book "HTKYF" to see if the Hype is real...

This just didn’t grip me. The ‘watching from the afterlife’ was sort of interesting but mostly just felt like a tool to write in different scenes revealing information, not very interesting.
The main ‘murder’ didn’t have a solution at all really, and overall this book just left me mildly interested in the answers but largely not that bothered.
