This was not a thriller, more of a family drama (my favorite) so even though I went in expecting twists and turns, I still enjoyed what this book ultimately did.

I really enjoyed the dual perspective of this book. I also greatly enjoyed the character arc most of the characters went through.

Half star deducted for one character that was totally off the chains unbelievable. She was extremely unsympathetic, but maybe that's because I will never understand some people's obsession with having biological children

Kept me guessing the whole time if it was suicide or murder... and if murder, who dun it?! Highly recommend listening to the audio book with the Australian narrator! *chef's kiss*
