I really enjoyed this one. It was very casually written which was great for modern fantasy and the romance was really good. Couple of spicy scenes, they were also good.

I LOVE me some Ali Hazelwood. This was obviously very different and I think she did a great job on it. I do think it started very slow and I was falling asleep until about 35%. Then I was HOOKED. Ali is so good at creating tension among characters and this did NOT disappoint

I was NOT expecting what occurred in this book. It definitely was not my type of book. It felt a little bit like fan fiction with like um some weird stuff going on. I wouldn’t recommend this book. This is not the classic Ali Hazelwood you have read. So beware
