This series was fantastic. Such a great one for fantasy fans. You'll want to pick this one up!
I loved how everything turned out in this book and how everything ended. We're building up to the final battle, and Emilia does such a great job showing the hopelessness, but the determination to do everything they can to win and get the throne back for Lia. I really liked how her siblings each got what they deserved, and I loved seeing even more of Jace and Lia's relationship. We had some interesting revelations, some sweet revenge, and epic battles.

Thank you, Emilia, for sending me this ARC!

This book is the final in the trilogy and OH EM GEE!!! I ate this series up! It was SO good! I am not going to drop spoilers but it absolutely had me on the edge of my seat, I could not put it down! If you like TOG and A Song of Ice and Fire, this series is the one for you!
Lia is one of my all time favorite FMCs! Honestly, I love all of these characters so much. It's an incredible, fast-paced adventure with amazing world and character building. The multiple POVs pull you right in to the story and give you a totally immersive experience. I gasped, cried, laughed, screamed, ooo'd and ahhh'd- I just cannot say enough good things about The Forbidden Heir series!

• thank you to the author, Emilia Jae, for an ARC of A Throne of Wings and Embers.
Wow, wow, what an incredible way to finish this incredible trilogy. I have enjoyed this world, the characters, and the journeys it took me on throughout the series. This has quickly become one of my favorite fantasy trilogies.
I love the found family, revenge, love & all of the hardships included in this story. I fell in love with every single one of these characters and have loved learning about them and reading from their POVs throughout the story. I felt every emotion while reading this and was SO stressed while reading the last 100 pages. I think the book was much longer than needed, but I still loved it.
The ending was terrific and had the perfect happy ending that all characters deserved after everything they went through. I am going to miss these characters and this world so much.

I was so honored to be able to read this book. I fell in love with these characters and couldn't wait to see the end of their stories. This was such a perfect ending. I laughed, I cried, I slammed my kindle shut in anger. It was everything I wanted it to be, and yet nothing. I did not want this beautiful fantasy to end. This had every emotion I needed and more I didn't know I wanted. I jumped for joy when I realized I was selected to read this. I love Emilia, she is now an instant download & purchase author. The next thing in my to do list is to order this series in hard copies too display on my special book shelf.
If you love emotional fantasies, pick up book one and don't stop until you finish here. I promise you won't regret it.

*♡Thank you to Emilia Jae and The Realm Archives for the ARC of this amazing finale of the Velyran Realm trilogy ♡*
This was one of my most anticipated books this year, and it did not disappoint! The world building and build up from the previous two books shone through and everything was wrapped up perfectly.
Lia and Jace are an amazing and terrifying couple and it was such a delight getting to read the end of their story.
The spice was spicy and the fighting was filled with tension and fear for all of the characters that I had grown to love over the course of the three books.
I have been left statisfied and incredibly at peace after reading this trilogy, thank you so much Captain Em 🥰

WOW, this was a wild ride! The story picks up right where it left off in book 2. The romance in this one is next level. There were times I was tearing up reading Lia and Jace’s dialogue. There were other times I was gasping and saying “oh my god” and “oh no” out loud. I was emotionally invested in these characters and this story and am so sad it’s over! I really can’t believe this is Emilia’s first series. The writing is fantastic and the story ended beautifully. I can’t wait to read what she comes out with next! If you haven’t started this trilogy yet, what are you waiting for?!

This was an absolutely epic ending to an amazing trilogy. I loved everything about it. Em knows how to write a truly evil villain which had me SO ANXIOUS the entire time. The found family in this series is truly one of my favorites. I loved the addition of all the creatures of the realm, not just the humans and the fae. The battle scene was so well done with such great build up and conclusion. I am so sad to be done with this series while simultaneously still so in awe of this world that Em has created for us.
Thank you so much for an eARC in exchange for my honest review!

What a way to end a trilogy. We join Eliana and Jace as the prepare for the battle that will ideally gain Eliana the crown that is rightfully hers. Though we know that with knowing this major battle will culminate toward the end, that we have some twists and turns coming our way. One thing I appreciated about this book was the allowance for our side characters to shine. We get so much more out of Veli, Avery, Finn, Zae and Gage in this book on their way to creating their defining impacts on the future.
We also finally get to travel to the other side of the mountain to see the human dwellings in Alaia and the forces that Jace commanded during the war.
I also enjoyed the budding relationships in this book and how they all have created their own family amongst the devastation the Queen plans to leave in her wake. Be prepared, because not all is as it seems.
