Well written, but not my kind of book. Plot felt a bit pointless, like it was going nowhere. Still not really sure what the aim of the book was. The plot is obvious from the blurb and never really changes from there.
To be honest I was bored for most of it…very character driven, think i would enjoy a more plot-driven book by the same author as the writing was nice.

I dual read and listened to this as an audiobook, and I did not enjoy the narrators of this audiobook unfortunately - female narrator was completely monotone, reading like she was being forced to in school, every sentence sounded exactly the same. Male narrator not much better, which didn’t help the overall boringness of the book I’m afraid.
