ೃ⁀➷ this is probably my favorite of this authors books i’ve read so far. i do wish they weren’t so predictable though, fear’s pov made it really obvious who the killer was pretty early on which i didn’t like because i was also able to predict the killer in the other two books. i have to give it a lot of points for the ending though, these always have shocking endings that i’m never mentally prepared for. i absolutely loved the plot too, just the right kind of creepy for an october night. while its predictable it’s still perfectly scary and thrilling, you never know exactly what will happen until you get to the end. i would definitely recommend these thrillers, they’re some of my favorites i’ve read.

Plot
When a meme starts going around a small fishing town the local high schoolers join in sharing what they think the most terrifying way to die would be. They never expect to start dying in that very same way. The deaths are getting too close to home for Izzy and she can’t help but try to unravel the mystery on her own.
I love when I finish a book and it ends on a note that makes me go back and reread the last page again. Which was exactly what this book did. It's definitely YA slasher type vibes but there is also a massive mystery of who the k!ller is.
I wouldn’t say it’s the best thriller ever but it was a super quick read and the ending is gonna stick with me for a while. If you like YA thrillers I recommend checking this one out!
