3.75. I love Natasha Preston’s writing. It is so fast paced and are perfect for a quick pallet cleanser after a longer book. This one was so interesting and kept me guessing and entertained the whole time. I finished it in one sitting!

This one kept me on the edge of my seat, I couldn’t put it down. Every time I was like “oh ___ is the killer” something would happen to make me question it. Natasha Preston loves a good cliffhanger, & while it drives me crazy it’s always got me like :O when I read the ending of any of her books, this one didn’t disappoint!
Too many characters for me. A little confusing. Loved the story line though and the killers pov chapters! The book did have some morbid moments but I loved them. Really makes you think about death in another light. I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend. It would have got 5 stars if there was less mention of unnecessary characters.

An easy flick made tense by paranoia and naivete. Would've liked a more detailed chapter or so on the childhood and bond between Tristan and Axel. Some emphasis on that could've highlighted the endgame more, considering that Axel was gone for most of the book. All in all, the ending was what made the story.
