Je comprends pourquoi certains ont aimé ce roman, mais ce sont les mêmes raisons qui ont fait que ça a été un petit flop pour moi… Dès le départ, je n’ai pas vraiment été emballée par les thèmes, mais j’ai décidé de me laisser porter, attendant de coho qu’elle me surprenne et me pousse dans mes retranchements comme elle a su le faire avec d’autres romans. Mais ce n’est jamais arrivé.
C’est effectivement une lecture estivale, c’est indéniable. Mais ça a finalement été une lecture compliqué pour pas grand chose, à titre personnel. J’avais la sensation d’assister à des échanges stériles entre des ados de 15 ans alors qu’ils étaient tous adultes, je ne comprenais pas l’objectif de ce roman. J’ai anticipé le plot twist et quand c’est tombé, ça a tout flingué pour moi. Le rebondissement était un peu ridicule à mon goût, et ça a renforcé cette sensation de vide que j’ai eu pendant toute ma lecture. Je n’ai pas su m’attacher aux personnages ni à ce qui leur arrive, mais je sais que ça plaira à d’autres !

Rarely does CoHo miss. I was not disappointed reading this book, she always hits. samson is actually a top tier book bf, and reading this book made me feel like not only was i falling in love with samson but also i could sympathize with beyah. some of the diction and literary language used by coho is just beautiful, and made me realize we all deserve to fall in love like this.
Want a book that's heartbreaking & uplifting at the same time, look no further! I loved every single second of this book. I wanted nothing more than for it to come to life.
Another book written so beautifully by Colleen. The characters were wonderful and I easily fell in love with them. The story was so captivating and some of the quotes definitely stuck with me - love, love, love!

"Heart Bones" by @colleenhoover
This read had my heartstrings pulled so tight. Seeing two people coming from such dark, lonely places moving into such a light, loving, place is so heartwarming.
This story shows such a strong love built between two very broken people. It shows their process of putting all their broken pieces back together and fitting in extra pieces of the other person. Fitting together for life, in heart and soul.
"What fills the holes in a soul?"
"Pieces of someone else's soul."
The journey through this read had some unexpected turns and twists, but ultimately ended in a strong, solid, love.
Grab some tissues and take a cruise though this wonderful story.
