Ahhhh I’m falling in love with Colleen Hoover. I needed something lighter after Verity and this was it. It’s hard put this book down. I fall fast in love with Samson and Beyah. And again I thought I saw what was coming and I didn’t, not at all.

That's it, I am so into CoHo now. My goal is to read all of her books.
What a twist! What a plot twist!
I can't even write proper review because I am afraid I will end up writing spoilers. Just read this book. Really good, almost perfect.

Heart Bones is one of the fluffier novels Colleen has written, but that didn't make me like it any less; sometimes it's nice to take a break from all the heaviness contained within certain subject areas, and Colleen did an excellent job of incorporating serious matters under a sheer veil of absolute delight and pure bliss. You can practically feel the sun on your skin and smell the salt in your hair as you visualize the beach, the ocean, and the lovely houses the characters find themselves in. This makes it a lot easier to digest things like Samson's complicated past as well as Beyah's, and the complexities involved in being raised the way they unfortunately were. Though both characters endured many hardships, it brings the reader much comfort that in the end they find a love they've searched for since birth, and are finally being given a companion they can rely on.
