The whole story is quite haunting and depressing, but also so interesting to get this very personal account of her life and old Hollywood. It’s short, so I think it’s worth the read. It definitely hit in unexpected places, and changed my perspective of who Marilyn Monroe was.
The ending just kind of wrecked me, knowing that it ended that way because she wasn’t ABLE to finish it. The abruptness shocked me, and I almost wished somebody had finished her story for her. Or just written some sort of conclusion. But at the same time, it was hard hitting and haunting to stop the story right where she did.

Interesting look at her life through her eyes.
Sort of an abrupt ending.

I think it’s suspicious how it wasn’t finished.
It doesn’t seem like her style to leave her book unfinished…
From her own description it feels like she’s a lover of knowledge and a hard worker.
