I didn't particularly love the first half of the book but thoroughly enjoyed the second half but I'm a sucker for happy endings.

Horrible!

That's it. I'm officially tired of sex.

I’ve never known suffering like this before

Its a shame about the ending. Seems rushed! The story is amazing but they could of made another book out of this.

E.l. James you have done it again. I am speechless. All i could review is that i love---more than love. I adore your book Fifty Shades of Grey the trilogy . I promise i will read it again! Thank you soo sooo soo much for authoring this book! Thank you!

If I am lent a book, I cannot NOT finish it. Especially if the lender is a friend, overly excited about said book.

I didn't like it. The main characters have a very annoying, immature and unrealistic relationship.
This is the worst of the three books.
I think that if they edited better the books into a single one they could have achieved a better quality story. Who knows, maybe even a five star review instead of one.

Too many things I struggled with, and was frustrated about:
- lots of repetitive parts: immature quarrels, sex, angst/distress, resolve. Repeat.
- exasperating bits: mine! mine! you're mine! all mine!
- also, a few faux-pas, to name one:
Spoilerthe comment about the baby in her belly already liking sex!
.. Wtf?
- controlling behavior that goes on and on. and on. and on..

If you can overcome those, you might enjoy it. I didn't.

This book is 200 pages too long --- it unnecessarily prolongs a story that started feeling forced by the end of the second book. Fifty Shades Freed had some great moments, but they were drowned-out by 'fluff'.

The last two chapters don't belong in the book. They are completely different from the tone and style established in the preceding books and chapters. I understand her intentions with those final chapters, but I think she ruined a potentially great trilogy.
