well, i think i am a rina kent fan. second book that i absolutely devoured. the writing left something to be desired, but it wasn’t awful enough to yank me out of the story. like i always say, read the trigger warnings!! this is a dark romance & won’t be for everyone. lots of pain/bondage/rough s*x. that said, i loved it, almost more than god of malice. i think i identified with creighton more than killian, and felt like the star-crossed lovers thing was really working for them, even if the parts of the plot felt a bit far fetched 😇 annika really carried the story! i got a bit overwhelmed with all the purple and feeling at certain points like she was SO juvenile, but you really see her come into her own throughout the story, which i appreciated. and there is nothing like a possessive RK man!
