The first half of this book was slow and focused on the character development versus plot. After the halfway mark, a lot more plot fall into place and absolutely grips you through the end. New character come into play that make you question every theory you originally had written down!

This series is fun. It’s a “turn your brain off” kinda series, and I appreciate that.

So I am loving this series and the story is brilliant imo, however this is not 5 stars because it was just a bit tooo smutty for me lol. If it stayed like the first book that would be okay but it was a bit dragging. I am looking forward to the next book especially with how the last chapter went.

Oh also I’m not too keen on farron so that may have swayed my opinion. I am looking forward to ezryns book though.
