The start felt rushed and then the middle dragged a bit, but interesting enough premise (I think could have done more with the dreams concept) and I appreciate that the author was not afraid to both make a mildly annoying teenage character and kill off important characters.

This goes up there with my very favorite books of all time. Beautifully written, heartfelt, great characters. Love the premise and the story - realistic dystopia - and the racial analysis is awesome. The ending was way better than I could’ve hoped for. I read this book as slowly as I could to savor every page!
