Josh Chen (Ava's Brother) + Jules Ambrose (Ava's bestie)

-Enemies to lovers/enemies with benefits
- Best friend's brother
- Forced proximity
- Workplace romance
- Enemy-ship Truce
- FUN BANTER <3

I thought this was a funner read compared to the previous 2 books (for me at least). It wasn't as dark, a bit lighter as well. It had some really cute, annoying, witty, swoony banter between Josh and Jules. The chemistry was FIRE. I totally could relate to why Jules was always rude to Josh because of her insecurities lol. I would be too had I heard what Josh said about me to my bestfriend. Grr.

Josh is such a fun extroverted, witty character. And it refreshing to have a talkative trolly MMC character. I liked how different he is now compared to when he was in the Twisted Love book - Playful, flirty, playboy, golden child jock to a more dark, broody, stressed out cos of work doctor-in-training with daddy issues. I thought what he did to Jules during the exposition scene was shitty though. So mean. :( Kinda out of character as well. But hey, we needed that conflict right?

definitely my favorite so far

Josh and his sisters best friend, Jules are sworn enemies. They start working at the clinic together and call a truce. They form a purely physical agreement and they begin to fall for one another and work through their traumas as the past catches up to them and causes a hiccup in their relationship. I like them together but it’s quite cheesy and I also don’t like how cocky Josh is. I don’t care for the spice. It’s  degrading at times.

The Characters Arcs  Individually are So good!! ✨
But Together, when they grow together, make mistakes and evolve.. that's THE BEST PART  of any story  for me. ❤️‍🩹
So yeah 5  stars ⭐
I like Josh..He is the. cinnamon roll energy with trauma☺️🥹
& Jules Ohh god! My absolute favorite part of the book..

& Honestly Josh doesn't deserve the hate or dislike he gets .He did the wrong thing..agreed..So did jules right then why everyone just hates josh .🥺😏

While I enjoyed thoroughly a huge chunk of this book it hurt my heart and soul a little too much for me to fully enjoy it like I would a 4 or 5 star.

It emotionally scarred me and for that I want to punish it with my review.

I started noticing the Easter egg characters and mentions of things from her other books in this. It starts prepping you for the Kings of Sin series!

Josh and Jules anticipation was wild, even though I knew it was gonna happen. I wish we got more insight on their lives and less sexual scenes but that’s just personal preference.

When Josh finally declared his love, I nearly screamed. I love yearning and declarations of love in romance books, ugh. 😭
